shared family cell phone plans

Sharing you cell phone plan with your family to save money

There is only one way to cut your cellular bill down and that is with a shared cell phone plan from one of the leading carriers. Normally you always get 2 phones when signing up with this plan, but most carriers are letting you add one or two more phones on the same contract.

AT&T has the best offer and incidentally has the best service with the fewest amount of dropped calls because of their large coverage area.

Small business can share a cell phone plan to reduce costs

For people with a small business or home based business this would be a good idea, especially for small delivery companies. The only precaution I would take is to have the phones in the office and have them pick them up in the morning.

I would also keep them over the weekends, your contract has free evenings and free weekends then going over your limits wouldn't be an issue if they used them.

This can save a great deal on overall costs, plus in most cases when calling other people with the same wireless carrier or on the same plan, it is free or the amount of allowed talk time is so large you don't need to worry about it.

How long should you sign up for a shared cell phone family plan

This is a little harder to answer because some plans come with different free cell phones based the length of your contract, whether it is 1 year, 2 year or 3 year.

Normally the best phones are rewarded to people with the longest signup time, but not always. In any case I believe the shared cell phone plan/ that offers you the most flexibility is the 2 year contract. T

his gives you a bit of breathing room if you don't need more that two phones anymore you can cancel one and save on your monthly charges.

If your second cellular phone is for a teenager and after they have a job you can pretty much guarantee they will want the latest technology and will probably sign up for an individual cell phone plan that they can control. Which wireless carrier offers this cell phone deal

All wireless carriers have this offer in some form or the other. Cingular, Verizon, At&T, t-mobile and Sprint.

Each will have a slightly different option to entice you into signing up with their company. Compare all plans with the type of cell phone deal they offer so you can choose which has the best features for your calling habits.

As far as digital and analog phones go both have their benefits and has more to do with whether you live in a rural area or a metropolitan city. If you travel a lot an analog phone usually works best but you can get dual analog/digital phones that will work in 95% of all coverage areas.

The reason I would signup for a shared plan with a digital phone is because if you live in a city with a lot of tall buildings you would get the best reception and not have to worry about missed calls or dropped conversations because of the area you are in.
